She was born on July 29, 1943 in Dover, Arkansas the daughter of William and Nada (Martin) Glass. On May 18, 1990 in Fayetteville, Arkansas she was united in marriage to Melvin Pettypool, who survives. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Wayne Allen.
Mary Nell graduated from high school in Wichita, Kansas later attending college where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed as a surgical nurse for several years while living in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Mary Nell loved to work and to travel in her spare time.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
