Mary Sue Phillips

Mary Sue Honeycutt Phillips, age 76, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Ernest and Nervia Bennett Honeycutt. She was a loving homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by brothers, Doug, Argol and Gary Honeycutt.
Mary Sue Phillips has left behind to cherish her memory: sons, Raymond Higgins, Jr. and Scotty Higgins (Rachel); daughter, Sherry Huskins; grandchildren, Joshua Arp, Jacob Arp, Brandon Huskins (Madi), Harley Huskins (Alyssa Raby), Julie Higgins Bradford (Bodhi), and Dylan Higgins; great grandchildren, Goliath Arp, Jordan and Morgan Jones, Jasper Huskins, Oliver Huskins, Elizaray Huskins; sisters, Dorothy McLaughlin (Terry), Linda Randolph (Don); and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses on 2300 Unit at Johnson City Medical Center for the support and care during this time.
