Mary Phoennik Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Phoennik, age 62, passed away on June 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late William and Ruth Phoennik; sister of John (Shelley) Phoennik; aunt of Connor, Courtney (Antonio), and Rachel. Mary was a resident of the Patricia Hillman Miller Campus and Merakey Allegheny Valley School for many years, where she received wonderful care from many staff members. Mary loved music and swimming and delighted all with her spunk, laughter, and curiosity. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 28, from 2-8pm in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp., 15220. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Barbara Church, Corpus Christi Parish in Bridgeville 9:30am on Thursday June 29th. Burial to follow at 11:00am in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
