Mary Pierce Moore Perry Moore, age 92, passed away at Perfect Care on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M until service time in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mary Moore was born March 24, 1933; to the late Robert Pierce Moore and Mary Suzannah Moore. Mary Moore was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to everyone she ever met. She was passionate about flowers, butterflies, bright colors, mornings at Hardee's and enjoying good food with family and friends. She loved her family deeply and never wanted to miss out on any occasion. She had a strong relationship with the Lord and she leaves a legacy of love and faith.
She is survived by a son; Stuart Lee Perry (Pam) of Americus, a daughter; Susan Perry Childs (Joe) of Americus. A sister, Betty Johnston of Albany. Five Grandchildren; Amanda Perry Campbell (Ryan), Scott Childs (Melissa), Chris Childs, Peyton Childs (Megan), Ashleigh Childs Geurin (Shane). Ten Great Grandchildren; Emma Childs, JJ Armstrong, Landon Childs, Robert Childs, Rayleigh Childs, Savannah Childs, Addie Childs, Rylee Kate Campbell, Thomas Campbell, Greyson Childs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Thomas Edmond Perry. Her second husband; Marvin B. Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Rudy's Happy Patch at the Perry Wellness Center for a memorial garden in her honor.
