Mary Pinner, age 59 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 17, 2025. Mary was born on April 26th, 1966, in Largo, Florida. Mary was a member of North Point Church in Harriman, TN. She worked as a special needs assistant at Ridge View Elementary School in Rockwood. She enjoyed helping with the Girl Scout Troop #20494 in Rockwood. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. All who had the privilege of knowing her got to see how big her heart was. Mary loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a shining light of Rockwood, and every student she worked with or any of her former coworkers would always tell you how much they loved her. Mary is preceded in death by her Mother: Loreli Kemmerly. She is survived by:

Children: Dillon Pinner (Amanda), Alex Pinner, and Elsha Pinner-Whittaker (Philip)
Grandchildren: Wrangly Pinner, Seth Godsey
Father: George Kemmerly
Brothers: Ken Kemmerly (Susan), Brian Kemmerly
and several other relatives and friends
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 4:30-6:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Bob Manning officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mrs. Mary Pinner.
