Mary Pinson McQueen Brogdon

Mrs. Mary Pinson McQueen Brogdon, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at her home. Born on October 1, 1946, in Mullins, SC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Harrelson McQueen, Sr. and the late Mary Pinson McQueen. Mrs. Brogdon worked in banking for 40 years before her retirement from BB&T and was a longtime active member of the Loris First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Brogdon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose mission in life was to ensure the wellbeing of her family. She will be missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas "Tommy" H. Brogdon, Jr.; daughters, Lori Suggs (Timmy), and Renee Soles (Rodney); grandchildren, Mallory Suggs Cox (Tanner); Jordyn Suggs, and Raegan Soles; great-grandchildren, Stevie Jo Cox, Colbie Maryn Cox, and Joseph Miller Cox; sister-in-law, Jayne McQueen; brothers-in-law, Sam Brogdon (Beverly), and Tootie Brogdon (Jane), and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brogdon was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Harrelson McQueen, Jr., and sisters, Agnes Gertrude McQueen Lee, and Jean McQueen Cox.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Loris First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dr. Tim Osment officiating. Committal services at Twin City Memorial Gardens will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to services, at Loris First Presbyterian Church.
