Mary Rita Polidoro

Mary Rita Polidoro, 89, of Pittsfield, died Saturday February 22, 2025, at Springside of Pittsfield with family by her side.
Born in Pittsfield on December 27,1935, daughter of Domenico and Adele Carosi Foffo, Mary was raised in the Lakewood section of Pittsfield. She attended Pittsfield schools and was a 1953 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mary worked for years at the former First Agricultural Bank and for Berkshire Armored Car Services.
Mary was proud of her family and cherished spending time with family and friends. She was competitive and enjoyed bowling and playing pitch and bocce at the Italian-American Club.
Mary is survived by two sons, James Raymond, and his wife Frances of Burlington, CT, and Craig Raymond, and his wife Nancy, of Adams, MA: 5 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren: and her sister Philomena "Fannie" Bonacquisti of Pittsfield.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ronald Polidoro, her brother Giulio Carosi, her sister, Olga Todd, and her great grandson Joshua Raymond.
FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Mary R. Polidoro will be held Friday, February 28, at 12:00 noon at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. John C. Salatino, Pastor of St. Mark Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Heart Foundation in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield or at Childrensheartfoundation.org.
