Mary Fran was born on December 27, 1937 in Auburn, New York, to John J. Toole and Frances M. Toole (née Bowers). She grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and spent most of her life in Ohio and Florida. After graduating from the Convent of the Sacred Heart and the Central Academy of Commercial Art, Mary Fran married Wallace David Poston on September 16, 1961, at Guardian Angel Church in Cincinnati. They shared sixty-four loving years of marriage.
Mary Fran is survived by her husband, David, her children, Amy Bergan (Patrick) and Grant; her grandchildren Rachel, Elizabeth and Max; and her brothers Christopher
(Ruth) Toole and Stephen (Connie) Toole. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother John "Butch" Toole.
Mary Fran cherished spending time with her family. Her creativity and artistic talent were infectious. She enjoyed golfing with friends, traveling and was a lifelong animal advocate. She was deeply interested in genealogy and held dual US and Irish citizenship.
A private Spring service will be held in Auburn, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Best Friends Animal Society or the ASPCA.
