Mary Ruth Rader, 85, of Vienna, WV passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center.
Daughter of the late Jacob Garfield and Agnes R. White Shiley, Mary was born August 19, 1940 in Silverton, WV. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School in 1958, served for the Wood County Commissioners' Office as the administrator until she retired.
Mary was an avid volunteer for the Actions Center #211 as a director. She was a member of the AARP Chapter 5181, Vienna Senior Citizens, Wood County Senior Association, Wood County Society, former member of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary, and a devoted Baptist by faith. She was also co-owner and helped her family at Mackenzie's Floral Shop in Vienna, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Okey Alan Rader (Michelle) of Albemarle, NC and Brian Edward Rader (Susan) of Vienna, WV; three grandchildren, Maris Huneycutt (Triston), Owen Rader, and Mackenzie Rader.
Funeral service will take place Monday, October 20, 2025 at 2:00 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna with Jim Sims officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Monday prior to service at the funeral home.
