Mary Carmen Ramos

Mary Carmen Ramos, better known as Carmen, was born December 25,1937 in a small hill country town called Hondo, TX. To the parents of Miguel & Veroncia Domingez. She passed surrounded by her family on February 21, 2026, at her home in San Antonio, TX at the age of 88.

She is reunited with her husband, Juan A. Ramos, who passed July 5, 2016. Juan and Carmen were high school sweethearts when they married and moved to San Antonio TX. They were married for 57 years. Carmen is survived by her three children, John D. Ramos (Wife - Laura Ramos), Larry D. Ramos (Wife – Leticia Ramos), and Michelle D. Ramos. Her son's blessed her with 3 granddaughters: Judy Ducsik (Husband- Matthew), Andriana Ramos Zimmerlie (Husband – Jered), and Valencia Ramos. She was also blessed to have five great grandchildren: Val Galindo, Trinty Galindo, Ava Zimmerlie, Camilla Zimmerlie. and Summer Zimmerlie. She also had three furry grand-pups: Yoda, Chewy, and Obi.

Carmen worked as a medical assistant for 15 years. Throughout her life she was guided by faith. She was an active parishioner at St. Paul's Catholic Church for 58 years. She was a Eucharistic minister, a member of the sowing circle and a member of the Guadalupana Society.

Carmen will be remembered for her kind heart. We will remember the smell of freshly baked cookies or pineapple upside down cake in the house. You could always find her outside cleaning the yard and picking up leaves. She was ready to hem your pants and skirts to make you look your best. Carmen was a daughter, a big sister, a wife, a mother, and a friend.
