Mary L. Rathfelder

Mary L. Rathfelder, 89, of Tiffin, passed away at 7:19 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
Mary was born on July 26, 1932 in Tiffin, to the late Samuel and Ruth (Mills) Anglemyer. Mary married Irvin M. Rathfelder in Angola, IN on January 27, 1951 and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2013.
Survivors include her son, Norman Rathfelder of Bronxville, NY a daughter, Martha Swander of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Jason Swander, Eric Rathfelder and Kristen Munzio, three great-granddaughters, Rylie Swander, Evelyn and Annie Rathfelder.
Mary retired from Ohio Bell in Fremont and was a member of Old Fort United Methodist Church. Mary was listed in the Registry of the Business Who's Who and also a member of the Eastern Stars. Mary was a 1950 graduate of Old Fort High School and a 1986 graduate of Tiffin University with an Associates Degree in Business.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Alan F. Anglemier and Richard S. Anglemyer
A graveside service for Mary will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort. There will be no visitation held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
