Mary Ann Reed (Bogusz), age 78, of Horton, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord on November 9, 2025. Mary was born on October 26, 1947, in Jackson, Michigan, to Joseph and Sophie (Tylutki) Bogusz.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Robert "Bob" Reed; cherished daughter Brenda (Don) Tripp; dear cousin to many.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Joseph and Sophie Bogusz.
Mary was a longtime resident of Horton, Michigan, who appreciated the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed bird watching, riding golf carts, and solving crossword search. Known for her gentle and soft-spoken demeanor, she was a devoted wife and mother, always supportive and present for her family. Mary was also a dedicated member of South Jackson Congregational Church, and she took great pride in her Christian faith and her relationship with Jesus. She will be missed and remembered by everyone that knew her.
A funeral service to honor her life will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home (Hanover) on Thursday, November 13, 2025, beginning at 12 P.M. with Pastor Steve Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Horton Cemetery, Horton, Michigan. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 13, from 11 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
