Mary Richardson

Mary E. Richardson, 82, of Colonial Beach, VA, passed away in the first hours of October 5, 2025, at Mary Washington Hospital, in Fredericksburg, VA, with family by her side. A perpetual night owl, it is fitting that she left when she did.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Nora and William Good; a half-sister, Doris Clark; the fathers of her children, Stanley 'Reece' Dolinger and Michael A. 'Mickey' Richardson; and her daughter, Terri L. Dolinger.

She is survived by her devoted partner, Robert 'Bobby' Monroe; daughter, Lynne Dolinger-Payne and husband Mike Payne of Capon Bridge, WV; son Richard T. 'Rick' Dolinger and wife Antoinette Dolinger of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter Kathryn E. 'Kassie' Richardson and husband Ben Rogers of Watertown, MA; stepson Michael A. 'Mike' Richardson and wife Kathy Richardson, of Sterling, VA; grandchildren Nicki, Morgan, Rikki, Nick, Mike, Mazie; and great-grandchild Arya.

A graveside service will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluemont, VA on October 18, 2025, at 2:00PM, followed by a reception at Bluemont Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Mary cherished and supported for many years.
