Mary Jo Ann Rodriguez

Mary Jo Ann Rodriguez 63 of DeSoto, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2026 at her home. She was born on January 5, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri. The daughter of the late Melba Church (Richardson) and the late Daniel Church.

Mary was a devoted mother, loving compassionate MiMi, cherished friend and so much more. She had a beautiful soul and a natural gift for caring for others. She was the sunshine on a gloomy day in many people's lives. She was a hard worker, a proud Navy veteran, server 20 plus years, and her latest occupation, a cashier at the local produce stand (Chico's) in town. If you knew Mary, you knew her love for Christmas but above all else she cherished and loved her children, grandchildren, friends and family. She is survived by a son, Justin Rodriguez of Romulus MI; her daughters, Desiree (husband, Jeff Marcou) Kaestner of Imperial, MO and Ashley (husband, Mark) Pratte of De Soto, MO; six granddaughters, Brooklyn, Nadia, Rilee, Maddie, Oaklee and Oaklyn; along with many loving family members and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joey Pratt and John Church and her grandson, Brantlee Pratte.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
