COHOES - Mary Gale Rogers, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. Mary was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth Pratt.
Mary lived a life defined by devotion to her family and a genuine heart for helping others. She married the love of her life, Frank Rogers Sr., and together they shared more than 52 years of love, laughter, and partnership.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Ann Louden-Herndon.
Mary was the proud mother of Frank (Jimary Jimenez) Rogers Jr. and Jessica Strock; and mother-in-law to Mark Strock. She was the adoring grandmother of Jeremiah and Justin Strock, who brought her endless joy. She was also survived by her brothers, Edward (Esther) Cheney and James (Elaine) Pratt; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering support, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence.
Her legacy of love, generosity, and quiet strength will continue to guide her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, N.Y., on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet, N.Y.
