MARY JO ROOT (nee Donnelly), age 81 of North Royalton. Beloved wife of Clinton A. Root for 60 plus years. Devoted mother of Clinton R. Root (Kathy) and Timothy M. Root; loving grandmother of Timothy W. Root, Samantha M. Root, Clinton L. Root and Violet K. Root; dear sister of Robert Donnelly (Alice); sister-in-law of Barbara Hegedus (Joseph); cherished aunt and friend of many. Mary Jo enjoyed vacationing, cars and especially any baby she encountered. She loved golf and wanted to be known as best dressed lady golfer. Her true passion in life was her husband, children and grandchildren. Passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to the Alzheimer's Association Cleveland Area Chapter, 3 Summit Park Dr #550, Independence, OH 44131. Funeral Mass at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133 on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Reception immediately following at the church. Inurnment at North Royalton Cemetery, 6320 Royalton Rd, North Royalton, OH 44133 at 1:00 PM. Please gather directly at Cemetery. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
