GREENVILLE - Mary Virginia "Jenny" Rowe, 66, of Greenville, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at her home. One of five siblings, she was born on June 27, 1944 in Providence, Ky to the Rev. Carroll and Mary Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Earl Yarbrough. She is survived by her devoted husband and friend of 48 years, Jerry Lee Rowe of Central City, and their three sons, Marty Lee (Pam) Rowe of Cleveland, TN, Carroll Dean (Tina) Rowe of Greenville, and Christopher Lynn (Amy) Rowe of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Brittany Leigh Rowe (Chris Gates, fiance'), Chelsy Paige Rowe, Autumn Brooke Rowe, Ethan Wesley Rowe, Mason Christopher Rowe, Austin Wade Rowe, and Jasmine Abigail Rowe; a brother, the Rev. Curtis (Pauletta) Yarbrough of Madisonville; two sisters, Dinah (Howard) Tinkle and Linda (Mike) Simpkins, both of Greenville; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She worked at Malone Lumber Company for over 10 years and retired as the floor manager in 2006. Previously, she spent a lengthy tenue of service as part of the management team at Wal-Mart in Central City. She was a member of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church and, above all, was devoted to her faith and her family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with the Rev. Larry Shadowen officiating, assisted by the Rev. Curtis Yarbrough. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9PM at the funeral home and Saturday after 8:00AM. Burial will be at White Oak Cemetery in Webster County. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, c/o Malone Lumber Company, 204 W. Depot St., Greenville, Ky 42345.
