Mary R. Santangelo

1932 - 2024

Mary Rose (Mame) Santangelo, 91, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, in Davie, FL. She was born on Sept. 13,1932 in McKeesport, PA, to Carl and Santa Fragomeni. She was a former resident of Pitcairn, PA, and lived in Palm Springs, FL, for the past 24 years. Mary Rose was the loving mother of Richard (Silvio) of FL, Luciana (Kelly) of VA, Sandra of FL, and Susan (Terry) of FL. She was the adored grandmother of Michael (Alyssa) of PA, Tommy (Tori) of PA, Megan (Hayden) and Samuel of FL; and great-grandmother of Nathan, Nicholas and Hadley of PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore (Sam); her parents, Carl and Santa Fragomeni; and her sister, Sylvia Fragomeni. She was the sister of Frank, Rita, John, Virginia, Amelia and Annie; and has many nieces and nephews. Mary Rose enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends; was a loyal Marshall's employee for 30 years, and an avid collector of angels. Some of her happiest moments were spent at Regal Palms, where she enjoyed the Florida sunshine, surrounded by her many friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at the Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33415.
