Mary Scott Whitehead Baker

Mary Scott was a dear hometown friend of mine. Though we never dated she and I were close friends from elementary school through college. When I was a youngster she and Jackie Painter were the only girls I'd invite to my birthday party. Later in college I was at Hampden-Sydney and she was ten miles away at Longwood College and during those years we often saw each other at H-SC social events. However, when we went home to Radford we had a pact that we wouldn't discuss with either set of parents those non academic collegiate adventures. Unfortunately, our life paths didn't cross again.
