Every once in awhile I look at the Andover obits and when I saw the photo you published I knew immediately that it was my favorite First Grade teacher, Miss O´ Connor. I grew up a block away from her childhood home and loved to walk to school everyday because I knew I would be greeted by the best teacher ever! I am in my mid sixties and still talk about the day she allowed me to stand in front of the class and sing....a solo..
I am sorry for your loss...and hope all the wonderful and happy memories you have carry you through these next months. She was a treasure and a special teacher.

Thank you for being there for all of my years. Cheering me on, sending sympathy, or a holiday cheer by mail. And from Jane, my mom's dearest friend since 3rd grade, she so wishes she could have talked to you one more time. Jane misses you so much. Love always, from your granddaughter, michelle v.
