Mary Claire Sheppard

Mary C. Sheppard, 82, of Keizer Oregon, passed away on February 7, 2025, at her home. Born September 29, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank and Mildred Hoppe. Mary was a homemaker until attending cosmetology school and working several years as a cosmetologist. Mary then embarked on a career with the Oregon Department of Human resources, until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of the Catholic faith, a former Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Red Hats. She is survived by her children, William Sheppard Jr. (Virginia), Linda Woods (Gary), sister-in-law, Mary Anne Hoppe, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; John "Jack" Hoppe, and grandson; Colton Wood. Arrangements are being made through Keizer Funeral Chapel and Cremation. Per Mary's wishes there will be no services, however, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in her name
