Mary Singles

Mary T. Singles of Wilmington, Delaware, age 74, passed away on May 4th, 2023. Born in Washington, DC, raised in Wilmington, Delaware since age 3, Mary's father served in the United States military which allowed her to spend her early adolescent years in Japan.
Mary completed her high school in the Wilmington School System. Mary would then go on to complete one year of college at the University of Delaware and one year at Goldey-Beacom College where she studied stenography. Mary worked 15 years doing clerical work.
Mary came to be with then Connections in 2011. Mary has since resided at the Chris Sturmfels group home where she enjoyed her time. Mary was a very matter of fact type of person; when she wanted to, she did, and when she didn't want to, she didn't. Mary was very intelligent, determined, and reserved. Mary valued her time and her money, most of the time, she was asking for more money. Mary would hold on to her money while spending others. Mary was very simplistic and nonmaterialistic, when Mary asked for things, she got them because it was very rare that she asked for anything. Mary had a gentle spirit and was kind to all she came into contact with.
Mary was preceded in death by her father George J. Singles, Sr. Mary will be missed by all of her Chris Sturmfels family, but Larry, Ophelia (Shemira), Bria, Tanisha and Beanie will miss her most of all.
