Mary "Sis" Elizabeth Hubbell

Mary “Sis” Elizabeth Hubbell, age 83, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Sprouse officiating, burial will follow at Gibsonville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Sis was born on February 17, 1941, in Maury County and was the daughter of the late Smith and Gladys Hubbell. 

She enjoyed word search books, puzzles, sewing, cooking, and going to yard sales. Most of all Sis loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. 

She is survived by her nephews; Jerry (Janet) Hubbell, Gary Anderson, Terry Anderson,, niece, Carol Anderson, several great nephews and nieces, and one special niece Teresa (Terry) Estis. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Anderson Hubbell, Thomas Hubbell, Milford Hubbell, and Charles (Dorothy) Hubbell, and her sister Pearl (Richard) Burkeen. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Hubbell, Trenton Hubbell, Clayton Estis, Terry Anderson, Ashley Estis, and Jacob Anderson.
