Mary M. "Doddie" Stiles

Mary M. "Doddie" Stiles, 81, of State Route 20, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton. She was born March 9, 1944, in Watertown, a daughter of the late Victor and Marjorie (Bevins) Carr and graduated from Watertown High School. On December 3, 1960, in Adams she married Thomas G. Stiles, Sr., a union of over 48 years until his passing on September 22, 2008. Doddie worked for the Waterville Knitting Mill and then Vick's Lithograph & Printing, Yorkville until her retirement.
Doddie enjoyed her home, spending time with her family, shuffleboard and camping. She was a member of the American Legion-Clifford J. Fulmer Post # 92 of Sangerfield, Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children; Michael and Sheri Stiles of Sherrill, Thomas and Sharon Stiles of Waterville; her grandchildren, Josh and Heather Stiles of FL, Travis Stiles of Deansboro, Ryan and Jenn Stiles of Weedsport, Allen Hutchings of Franklin Springs, Derek Stiles (Colleen Lang) of N. Brookfield, Amanda and John Vaughan of Waterville; great grandchildren, McKenna, Brayden, J.T., Avery, Caden, Adalyn, Bentley, Nathan, Dominic, Ella and Bella; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Kathy Carr of Adams, Jenny Carr of Watertown and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her son, Jamie Stiles, her stepfather. John Cavallaro, companion, Karl R. Kress, two brothers and sister-in-law, Victor Carr, Roger and Sue Carr and sister, Chrissy Carr.
Graveside services in Stockwell Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Community Memorial Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Doddie and her family.
