Mary Alice Stonecipher

Mary Alice Stonecipher, 85, of Syracuse passed away peacefully November 3, 2025. Born in Syracuse, she retired from K-Mart as a lay away associate. Mary Alice spent more than 10 years volunteering at Rosamond Gifford Zoo. When she was not volunteering, she was jigsaw puzzling, quilting, crocheting and doing needlepoint, many of her items were presented at the New York State Fair and were awarded ribbons. Mary Alice loved adventures, most recently her memorable trip to Calaveras Big Trees, State Park in CA with her great niece Jennifer.
She was predeceased by her parents, Parker and Cora (Newport) Stonecipher, her siblings, Irene Theisen, Barbara Blanchard, Ruth Goslee, Mildred Flask, Curtis, George, Jim, & Amon Stonecipher.
She is survived by her brother Harold Stonecipher, numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM Monday November 10, 2025 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave, Solvay, with Funeral Services at 10:00 AM. Mary Alice will be laid to rest immediately following in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
