Mary Ann Swartz

Mary Ann Swartz, of Fernandina Beach, FL, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at her home in Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA. She was 85.

She was the loving wife of 58 years of the late Jon A. Swartz until his passing on February 28, 2022.

Born in Quakertown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mabel (Sine) Knapp. She was a 1958 graduate of Quakertown High School.

Mrs. Swartz worked as a receptionist for Charles D. Fulp, Jr., D.D.S., Perkasie, PA, for over 30 years until retiring.

She was a member and regular attender of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Ottsville, PA.

Mrs. Swartz especially enjoyed raising and tending to her many dogs, cats and other pets and wildlife. In her later years, she was fond of collecting shells on the beach. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, old and new.

She is survived by two children, Jennifer A. Ottinger and her husband James, of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Jon A. Swartz, Esquire, and his companion Agnes Sablow, of Breinigsville, PA; a daughter-in-law, Crystal L. Swartz, of Quakertown; and two grandchildren Abigail Olivares and her husband Mason, and Gabriela Swartz. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Swartz, and many pet dogs and cats.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
