Mary Alice had a wide range of passions, including reading, cheering on her St. Louis Cardinals, playing cards with her card club and friends, traveling, and solving Sudoku puzzles. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, who she loved deeply.
She is survived by her children, Lonnie Beck (Pam), Denise Hillman (Bob), Dan Beck (Buffye), Debbie Downing (Josh), and Rhonda Reynolds (Travis); her step-sons, David Thater (Shareen) and Gary Thater (Val); and her grandchildren, Audrey Rivera, Gracie Hillman, Ronnie Hillman, Nick Stover, Chris Stover, Lindsey Adams, Miranda Reynolds, and Samantha Geiger; great-grandmother of Adalee Rivera; siblings, Kathleen Schonhardt, Kenny Menges (Carol), Jody Mumm (Dave), Denny Menges (Geneva), and Jim Menges (Mary), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ronnie Beck and Bob Thater; grandson, Jacob Reynolds; brother, Jack Menges; brother-in-law, Frank Schonhardt; and sister-in-law, Sue Menges.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or Visioning IC in her honor.
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Flatley as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
