Mary Thomas Obituary
Mary Lavenia “Sis” Thomas, 87, of Moon, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her home in Moon. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She worked as a clerk at the Mathews Post Office for many years. She loved stamp collecting, reading, and working on puzzles.
She is survived by her children, Robert W. Thomas (Valeria), Brenda K. Smith (Stuart), Lavenia Lyn Banks, and Timothy J. Thomas; a sister, Lou Anne Callis; a brother, Ronald Callis (Connie), 15 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Milford Cemetery, Moon, Virginia. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
