Mary Alice Thomas

Mary Alice Thomas, 94, of Manchester, died Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York City, she had lived in Wyckoff for 32 years before moving to Manchester 5 years ago. Mary had worked as a waitress before retiring and becoming a private caregiver. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church, Wyckoff; and loved sitting in the sun, watching cowboy movies & game shows, playing bingo, going to Atlantic City, gardening, and line dancing to country music. Most of all, we remember her for her love and compassion for animals. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Paul Stigman; and daughters: Linda Marie Stigman & Kathleen Teresa. Mary is survived by her son & daughter in law, Elliot & Daisy Thomas; daughters: Joyce Anne Thomas, Suzanne Thomas, and Lauri Rose Gordon & her partner, Curtis Russell; brother, Paul Pecoraro Jr.; sister, Paula Cardozo; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Mary Alice Thomas, known as "Meme", passed away at 5:25 Christmas Eve morning. Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. We all love you.
