The first time l met Theresa was on her Birthday, she asked me if l was Rita, l said no but l have a sister name Rita. Theresa said l know Rita, she used to visit my mom. Theresa was really easy to talk to, so thoughtful and kind, she invited me to stay and celebrated her birthday with her, so l did.
We went together to go see her favorite team the Broncos, beat the Falcons. We continued to keep in touch with each another and we became friends.
We went again to see another Bronco game and we had plans for this year to go on a cruise. She was so excited about the cruise trip.
I last saw Theresa when she became ill and was in the hospital, when l entered her room she said my name and she was very glad to see me. We talked some and l told her to get well soon because we have the cruise planned. I left and l hoped for the best.
I had the pleasure of knowing Theresa for that short time but it seemed like years. I wish I could´ve spend more time with her, but now she is rejoicing with the angels in her new life. My heartfelt condolences, prayers to the family and friends, especially to her sister Martha. It´s not easy to lose a loved one.
I will truly miss Theresa and her warm smile. Rest in heavenly peace my dear friend.
Love Lorraine.
