Mary Ann was born, June 21, 1952, and raised in Walsenburg, Colorado. She was a woman of faith and family. There was nothing Mary Ann wouldn't do for anyone. Mary Ann always saw the best in everyone. She was always willing to provide guidance and was a sympathetic listener and a great role model. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Joe Merejildo and Dorothy Bobian, brother Jose Roger Bobian, Patricia Mae Martinez, grandson Eugene Merejildo Trujillo. Survived by her husband of 49 years, James Trujillo Sr.; children James Trujillo Jr., Leon (Jessica) Trujillo, Rebecca Cordova. Grandchildren Eric Figueroa, Erlinda (Nick Jackson) Figueroa, Myranda (Jonathon) Stigall, Isiah Figueroa, Michealla Trujillo, Kiah Trujillo, Olivia Trujillo, Emma Trujillo, Gabriella Trujillo; Great-grandchildren Daniel Figueroa, Zayden Jackson, Lucy Stigall, Lincoln Stigall. Siblings Fred (Lucy) Bobian, Steve (Gina) Bobian, Rita (Tony Cordova) Bobian, Louise Trujillo, Helen (Quino) Montez, Bernard Bobian, James King, Michael (Cindy) Bobian; brother in-law, Ben (Bobbie Jo) Trujillo along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A public visitation will be at Boies-Ortega Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. with a rosary following at St. Mary's church at 5:00 p.m. A closed casket funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 30th at St. Mary's Church in Walsenburg at 2:00 p.m. Mary Ann's wishes were to be cremated and Interment will be at another time with family only.
