Mary Joan Waldron, age 87 of Crystal, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her home.
Mary was born in New Haven Township on January 29, 1938, the only child of Frank and Edyth (Maguire) Wermuth. Mary graduated from Ithaca High School in 1956. She married Robert Waldron on July 26, 1958.
Robert and Mary enjoyed 67 years of marriage and raised their five children on the family farm. Mary loved God, her husband, and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved serving as a Sunday School teacher and church treasurer at Pine Grove Church for many years. She was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching games and she was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed knitting, sending cards and visiting with people.
In later years Robert and Mary enjoyed camping trips in the U.P., attending their grandchildren's activities and spending time with family and friends. Mary was known by many for her kindness and love for others.
Mary is survived by her husband Robert, her children, Joann Huddle of Stanton, Nancy (Pastor Bruce) Anna of Edmore, Kim (Lacy) Waldron of Alma, Kevin Waldron of Carson City and Cheri (Lyle) Harp of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren Joshua and Meishela Huddle, Jacob and Jamie Snyder, Caleb and Lindsay Huddle, Christopher and Melody Gates, Aaron Anna, Ethan Anna, Chris and Emily Schultz, Christian and Victoria Marble-King, Travis and Gabrielle Smith, Myles and Hope Waldron, Cade Waldron, Harley Waldron, Kristopher and Crystal Waldron, Ben and Katie Toth, Trent Waldron, Tristen and Ashley Zienkiewicz, Samuel Harp and Alex Harp, and 28 great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edyth Wermuth, her father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Doris Waldron, and her son-in-law David Huddle.
A private family service was held at Pine Grove Church, Stanton with Pastor Brian Wickes officiating.
