Mary Kathryn Weaver was a very respected teacher-leader in the Saginaw Public School District. She was a graduate of St. Peter and Paul High School and Western Michigan University. Mary was the district’s Social Studies Instructional Leader for many years before her retirement. She taught at multiple schools but is best known for her time at Webber Middle and Saginaw High. The Class of '90 always held a special place in her heart.

Mary maintained many friendships with her classmates, coworkers, and other special people over the years. She loved and supported everything in Saginaw, Michigan, including the Saginaw Career Center culinary arts program.

Mary was an endless advocate for constitutional understanding, equity, and social justice. She was a dedicated educator, a loyal friend, and a devoted mother. Mary loved gardening, and her yard was her pride and joy. She enjoyed basket weaving, spending time by the water, and her multiple book clubs. Mary also had an adventurous side, which included skydiving and zip-lining. She had many lifelong friendships and will be missed dearly.

Mary leaves behind two loving daughters, Kathryn (Marcel) Warner and Kelly Warner; two grand puppies, Ziggy and Zeus; sister, Kathleen (Don) Miller; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other special friends.
