Mary Weber Obituary

Mrs. Mary Rose Weber

Mrs. Mary Rose Weber, 95, of Palmerton, formerly of Lansford, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 1, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family, granddaughter Avery, and spouse, Jason Pioli, and niece, Rose Hlubik, and spouse, Dan Labombard.

Mary was the beloved wife of Michael T. Weber, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage.

Born on March 17, 1930, in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Vadovic) Hlubik.

Mary dropped out of school in 10th grade to help support her family. She was a true "blessing" who always put family first. A woman of remarkable talent and creativity, she was employed by Rosenan Brothers in Philadelphia as a clothing designer, where her artistic skills flourished.

Mary had a zest for life that was evident in her many passions. She enjoyed going to the casinos, trips to Vegas and loved savoring a glass of wine or two! Together with her husband, she traveled the world on cruises, creating memories that she treasured deeply. In addition to her adventurous spirit, Mary was known for her organizational skills. She took great joy in arranging family reunions at her cabin and planned numerous events, including the breakfast club while she lived in Autumn Park, Macungie.

Over the years, Mary became an avid Mets baseball fan. She was in her happy place spending the day holding hands with Mike on her love seat watching all 162 regular season games. Maybe next year Mary?

A dedicated Catholic, Mary's faith was a guiding force throughout her life, shaping her values and the relationships she cultivated.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her brother, John C. Hlubik of Allentown; and numerous nieces and nephews and Toby Goida, who she celebrated his birthday daily.

Mary was preceded in death by William Hoffman, her first husband of 49 years; siblings: Michael, Frank, Cyril and Joseph Hlubik; and her sisters, Helen Goida and Josephine Pantoni.

Service: A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Calling hours will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. Mary will be laid to rest at the Grand Army Cemetery, Summit Hill. The arrangements for her services have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Tamaqua. She will be fondly remembered for her creativity, her kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.
