Mary Lou Westphal

I've known Mrs.Westphal since I was 5. I jokingly called her Queenie because I found it funny that Skip called her that. She was my best friend's mom and I spent lots of time at her home, always being welcomed. She was my last touchstone of her generation for me. I will miss her.

My memories of Mary Lou is that she was always nice and diplomatic. Always the peacemaker when Skips two sisters, my mom and aunt would argue as siblings do. Very nice. Her and Skip were inseparable. I miss the old times traveling to visit them from California.
