Visitation for Mary “Bebe” Whitlock will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Point Chapel Assembly of God in Doyline, Louisiana with a graveside to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Point Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be her grandson Kyle Garrison Spears, and Kyle Swain.
Mary was born May 4, 1937, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest June 27, 2024, in Doyline, Louisiana.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest McCormack and her second husband, Keith Whitlock; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Burge, sisters, Ferne Burge White and Bobbie Burge Reeve, and brothers James Robert Burge and Leon “Bo” Burge.
She is survived by her daughter, Haley Spears (Scott) of Doyline, sister, Linda B. Montgomery of Doyline, and grandchildren, Kyle Spears (Anna) of Ruston and Noah Spears of Doyline.
Pallbearers will be Rob Burge, Mike Burge, Stephen Reeve, Eddie Reeve, Shawn White, Matthew White, Todd Spears, and John Madison.
The family extends their gratitude to DCI Clinic of Shreveport, Passages Hospice of Minden, and Rebecca Greene for her comfort and care in her final moments.
