It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Wickline, who passed away on December 5, 2025. Born on January 18, 1935, Mary Ann left an indelible mark on the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving Daughter, Cindy Nielsen, (Jim), her devoted Son, Mark Lanier, (Tina), and her adoring daughter, Melanie Lanier. Mary Ann also leaves behind grandchildren: Kirsten Pickworth, (Daniel), Dana Nielsen, (Rick Homan), Tim Nielsen, and Paul Nielsen, (Ryan Dow), Forrest Lanier, Dustin Lanier,(Michelle), and great grandchildren, Vera and Corbin Pickworth. Mary Ann also leaves behind many precious nieces and nephews, cousins, in laws and amazing friends.
Preceding Mary Ann in death were her second husband, Hubert, her mother, Una Coker Cerba, her siblings, Betty Russell, June Ventura, Amy Miller, Bill Speak, Kathy Gansz, Barry Speak, her father, Brady Speak, her step fathers, George Artman and Charles Cerba, and her first husband Perry Lanier.
Mary Ann also leaves behind family of her second husband, Hubert: family of Jeanette (Jerry) Waller, son, Gary Wickline, (Connie Wells)Wickline. Hubert's Grandson Andrew Wickline, (Rachel) Wickline their children Daniel, Noah and Della Wickline. Granddaughter Christina (Wickline) Danforth, (Jim), and their children Corban, (Haleigh),Danforth; Canaan, Chilion, Bethany, Caleb, Christopher, and Carlton, (Christian) Danforth their children, David, Chase, Eliana, Owen, and Evan Danforth
Mary Ann's deep love for her family was a testament to the caring and compassionate woman she was.
A steady attendee at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church,
Shawnee, OK, Mary Ann's faith was integral to her life. Her warmth, compassion, and infectious joy were evident to anyone who met her. An accomplished singer, Mary Ann had the uncanny ability to craft a song for any conversation or topic, delighting those around her with her melodic storytelling.
Mary Ann's spirit of love and care extended beyond her family. She tirelessly taught others the significance of faith and love for everyone. Passionate about music and nature, she used both as mediums to educate others about the beauty inherent in the world.
Mary Ann leaves behind a legacy of faith, hope, and love, leading by example each day. She will be dearly missed by her beloved 'family chicks and by the myriad of people who had the privilege to share in her life journey.

In conclusion, Mary Ann Wickline was a beacon of love, compassion, and faith. Her zest for life, her commitment to service and her unwavering love for her family will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate to have known her. She may be gone, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the melodies she sang.
A celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held Thursday, December 11th at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church starting with a luncheon at 12:30 followed by a service at 2:00. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery following the service, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
