Mary Stanlene Yerian, aged 71, of Medway, OH, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born August 24, 1954, Xenia, OH, the daughter of the late Hershell Hale and Mary Frances (Lewis) Fairchild.
She retired after dedicating many years to her career in housekeeping as a manager at The Trinity Community at Fairborn, formerly known as Patriot Ridge.
Mary was admired not only for her professional contributions but also for her vibrant personality and her deep love for her family. A devoted matriarch, Mary took great pride in caring for her loved ones and was the glue that held her family together. Her nurturing spirit shone brightly through her many hobbies and interests. She had a passion for gardening and was known as a great cook, always welcoming guests with open arms and a warm smile.
Her love for nature was evident in her joy of birdwatching and feeding the local critters, especially the squirrels that frequented her yard. Mary had a wonderful sense of humor, bringing laughter to those around her and creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. An avid fan of Kentucky Wildcat basketball, she found joy in rooting for her team, sharing her enthusiasm with those lucky enough to be around her during game days.
Mary’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Mary Stanlene Yerian will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Stanlene is preceded in death by an infant brother, Clyde Lewis Jr.; sister-in-law, Vicki Hale; and beloved pet dog,“Sissy”. She is survived by two devoted children, Deana (Michael) Hall, Tim (April) Foland; eight grandchildren, Joshua (Dustine Galloway) Cox, Timber (Chad Dornon) Cox, Mellonee (Ethan Humphries) Hall, Jacob (Maddie O’Neill) Wisecup, Paige Foland, Tyler (Abby) Foland, Erica (Ahn Clisham-Parsons) Foland, Mason (Cristan “Loli” Ivette) Hall; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Jackie Hale; sister, Seronda (Mike) Jenkins; dedicated cousin, Judy Hale; beloved pet cat, “Gypsie”; extended family, and dear friends.
