Mary Sue Zamora, age 77, died on Tuesday, May 21st at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mary was born on August 27, 1946 in McAllen, Texas, to parents Paul and Alejandra Adams. She was the oldest of 12 children.  When she was young, her family moved to Minnesota. Mary spent the rest of her life in Albert Lea, Minnesota
Jesse and Mary met and the two were married on November 16, 1963.  The two raised their four children, three daughters and one son, in Albert Lea.
Mary was very kind at heart and helped as many as she could in whatever way she could. After raising her children with her husband, Mary worked in the dry-cleaning field as an employee for many years until managing One Hour Martinizing. Then Jesse and Mary opened their own dry-cleaning store and ran it together for 16 years before retiring.
Mary and Jesse always enjoyed hosting guests and providing entertainment for visitors. Mary was a very caring person and worked to instill those values in her children.
The guiding force in Mary’s life was her love of living by Bible principles. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974 and enjoyed sharing Bible truths with others at any opportunity. While somewhat limited by health in her later years Mary still used every opportunity she could to share Bible truths with others. She did this through phone calls and letters to friends and family or to those in the community. She very much looked forward to the blessings that God’s Kingdom would bring to the earth.  One of these future blessings is the hope of being resurrected here to the earth and reunited with family and friends. Mary’s immediate family takes comfort in this and shares that same hope.
Mary is survived by her children Debbie Zamora, James Zamora, and Annette Gutierrez; sisters Mary Lou Adams, Alma (Ray) Talamantes, Blanca Guardado, Alejandra (Bartolo) Orozco, Gloria (Hector) Perez, Dora Sandoval, Silvia (Pedro) Ortiz; her brothers Rudolph Adams and Ernesto Adams, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse, her daughter Tina Caldwell, her brothers Paul Adams Jr and Oscar Adams, and parents Paul and Alejandra Adams
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved and valued her spiritual family as well.
Mary will be missed very much by friends, family, and all who knew her.
A memorial talk will be given on June 2nd at 4:00 pm at:
