Mary Alice Zelenak (Krier), 99 of Morrisville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 24th, 2026. Born in Morrisville, Pennsylvania on April 22, 1926, Mary Alice spent her life selflessly caring for her family, animals, plants and any living entity that needed nurturing. She will live on in the hearts of those who know her as a quintessential mother figure and helper of all those in need. She was a model of pure, unconditional love.
A lifelong resident of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, Mary Alice was known for her open door and bountiful table of food, where everyone was welcome. Cousin Norm even named her kitchen, “Mary Alice’s Restaurant”. Her home was always known for many gatherings and singalongs. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family before all else. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, where she was a member of the choir. Mary Alice loved 1940’s Swing and Big Band music, growing plants, and caring for stray kittens. She also loved attending bingo nights at the Elk’s Lodge and Italian American Club, playing Monopoly, crafting and vacationing at Seaside Heights and Barnegat, New Jersey with her family.
She was a devoted wife of over 60 years to her late husband, Michael Zelenak, who passed in 2010 and was surely waiting for her upon her arrival to the afterlife. Mary Alice is survived by her five children, Kathy Gargan, Mary Ann Trofe, Michael Zelenak, Jr., Karen Dunn and Joseph Zelenak. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Susan, Donna, Patrick, Jennifer, Jackie, Ashley, Kristopher, Frank and Michael, and 12 great grandchildren.
