Obituary of MaryAnn Artigliere

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt, MaryAnn Artigliere (née Tamburello) passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home of over 60 years on Central Avenue in Madison, on January 7, 2026 at age 87.

MaryAnn was born in Morristown, New Jersey in 1938 to the late William and Mary Tamburello. She married her late husband, Anthony S. Artigliere on June 13,1959 in Morristown.

MaryAnn is survived by her four sons, Ralph and his wife Amy of Roxbury, NJ, Anthony Jr. of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, William and his partner Joan of Clinton, NJ and Michael and his wife Lisa of Madison, NJ. She had 8 grandchildren whom she loved dearly – Casey, Emily, Dillon, Chelsea, Jessica, Lucas, Alexandra and Nicole. She also had 2 great-grandchildren whom she adored – Easton and Millie.

In addition to her parents and husband, MaryAnn was predeceased by her sisters, Rita Rewick and Nancy VanNest, and her brother, Raymond Tamburello.

MaryAnn was a woman of strong faith and was a devout member of St. Vincent Martyr Parish. She retired after a lengthy career as a broker's assistant at Smith Barney in Morristown. MaryAnn was an amazing cook, and loved hosting family meals, especially on holidays. She also enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach on Long Beach Island & Cape Cod. Family was her number one priority, and she cherished the time she spent with her many relatives. She was a dear friend to many and enjoyed her frequent lunches with her lifelong friends.

MaryAnn was an inspiration to those around her, and made everyone feel loved and special. Her loss will leave an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. For those who cannot attend in person, the mass will be available virtually at www.svmnj.org/livestream-mass

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a charitable contribution in MaryAnn's memory to America Cancer Society.
