Maryann B. Patire

Maryann B. Patire (nee Alfano), 76, of Garfield, passed away August 3, 2023. Born and raised in Garfield, she was a lifelong resident. Before retiring in 2008 she was a beloved kindergarten teacher at Washington School of the Lodi Board of Education for over 35 years. Maryann was a past member of the NJEA, the LEA, Garfield Woman's Club and parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Lodi. Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Angelina (nee D'Agostino) Alfano. Devoted mother of Tara Tritto and Shawn Hicks of Saddle Brook and Dana Napoletano and husband Joseph of Park Ridge. Loving grandma "Diva" to Gianna Tritto, A.J. Tritto, Joseph Napoletano and Ella Napoletano. Dear sister of Salvatore Alfano. Arrangements by Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi.
