Marybeth Fiorelli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Molden Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service on Sep. 7, 2025.
Marybeth Fiorelli (nee) Hentschel, age 56, of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 1, 2025 after an almost 8 year battle with a rare type of Neuroendocrine Tumor Liver Cancer. She was the loving wife of Robert Fiorelli of Levittown; in October they would have been married 26 years. She was born in Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ and the beloved daughter of Robert A. and Eleanor Hentschel (nee) McShane.

Her family moved from Somerdale, NJ to Lansdale, PA in 1979. Marybeth attended Corpus Christi

Grade School and graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 1987. While in high school Beth participated in chorus, stage crew and also did make up for the shows at Lansdale Catholic and La Salle College High School.

After high school Marybeth attended Gordon Phillips School of Cosmetology and became a licensed beautician. Later she became a certified Message Therapist. Marybeth was employed by Golden Scissors Hair Salon in Lansdale for about 10 years. She also worked as a secretary for Miller Pump in Skippack, PA and Skee Ball Corporation Hatfield, PA.

Beth married Robert (Rob) Fiorelli in October of 1999 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lansdale. They have three children Christina Marie, Dayton Robert and Giavanna Eve Fiorelli. Beth enjoyed camping, reading, crocheting, and crafting. But her absolute favorite place to be was on the beach, in a chair with a good book and her feet in the ocean. She taught Religious Education at Queen of the Universe Parish, volunteered for Gilda's Club helping with fund raising events for cancer research and was also a volunteer with New Jersey Boxer Rescue. She and her family have adopted and found forever homes for many boxers.

Marybeth was fortunate to be a stay at home mom, so while the children attended Abraham Lincoln

Grade School she was very active in Home and School activities, fund raisers and classroom events.

Her volunteer work led her to employment for the Bristol Township School District aiding children who needed support with Reading and Math skills. The love of this work helped her take the college plunge and enroll in Grand Canyon University in Arizona to study Special Education. Even while working and studying she found time to continue teaching Religious Education for Queen of the

Universe Parish and joined the Harry S. Truman High School Band Boosters.

In 2017 she earned her Bachelors Degree Summa cum Laude from Grand Canyon University and then

learned of her illness. Marybeth had a monumental "Will to Live" and faith in the power of prayer. God gave her the time on this earth to use her degree and teaching skills. About a year into her illness when she began to feel better she asked the doctor "When can I get my life back?" He told her to "go for it." She was hired by Catapult Learning as and Interventional Teacher. She loved her work and was devastated when she was forced to go on disability as a result of complications from her illness.

In addition to her husband, children and parents she is survived by brothers Robert A. Hentschel, Jr. and Karl A. Hentschel, sister Christine J. Swarr (Christopher), nephew Bradon Swarr, nieces Estefania Hentschel, Jessica Swarr Snyder (Casey), Lily and Sophia Swarr, great nephews Rowan Thomas and Cameron Michael Snyder, Uncle Richard McShane (Rita) and cousins by the dozens.

Funeral arrangments are being handled by Molton Funeral, Bristol, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Funeral Mass Thursday September 11 at Queen of the Universe R. C. Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in Marybeth's name to Queen of the Universe R. C. Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.

Dearest family, Marybeth touched so many lives. I am one of them and I doubt anyone ever knew I existed. Marybeth and I met through Grand Canyon University. We shared many classes and soon started talking outside of school. She helped me in so many ways. One time I was mad at a professor and I vented to her. She sent me back the song to 'Frozen- Let it Go'. That stopped me because I couldn't stop laughing. I will remember Marybeth as-always gracious, always positive, always witty. Her family was her world and she made the world a better place with a heart and mind that only wanted to help others. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will continue to carry Marybeth with me as I teach and remember how lucky I am to have had her in my life.

I happened upon this obituary and I became very sad. So young! I have fond memories of Marybeth as a little girl at Corpus Christi where I volunteered Library, Lunch, Playground, Bazaar, etc. In Later years she did a fabulous job on styling my hair at Golden Scissors. I offer sincere condolences to her beautiful family and her parents and brothers and families. May She Rest In Peace. Gone Too Soon!

Sincerely

Marybeth had such a generous and radiant spirit. She had a way of making people feel truly cared for, and her kindness often showed up in the most thoughtful gestures. One year, she gifted me a ceramic Santa she had made herself-just one example of her love she had for others and her creativity. Her light touched so many, and her memory will continue to do the same. Sending heartfelt condolences to her family and all who loved her.

Mary Beth was a great asset to our Abraham Lincoln staff and I personally got to see her work her magic with the students on her caseload. She was a lovely lady, dedicated educator and just a fun person to know. She did so much good in the time she was given.
