Marylin Schrof Zurick

1941 - 2023

Marylin Anna Schrof Zurick, 81, of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on June 21, 2023. She was born on August 29, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Anna Schrof.
Marylin was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who was very devoted to her family. She had a terrific sense of humor and always found the good in everyone she met. Marylin had a huge heart and was a very generous woman. Even after spending many years in a wheelchair, she never complained. She loved God deeply and served Him faithfully.
In addition to her parents, Marylin was preceded in death by her daughter, Karilyn Zurick Drago; and brother, William Schrof.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Anthony "Tony" Zurick; children, Anthony Zurick (Laurie) and Colleen Zurick Heppler (Scott); son-in-law, Bill Drago; grandchildren, Caitrin Drago, Ashley and Ethan Zurick; great-grandson, Declan Owens, brother, George Schrof; sister-in-law Annette Schrof; and brother-in law, John Zurick (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, NC. A Funeral Mass will held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Mark Lawlor officiating. A private burial will be held.
