Masao Morita. Age 74, born February 2 1939 in the Philippines. Passed away on March 19, 2013 at his Covington, KY residence above the Yoseikan Karate School, after having suffered a stroke last September and having gone through open heart surgery in October 2012. Morita San is survived by his: brother- Mitsuo Morita, Nishi, Tokyo Japan; 3 nephews, including Shigeki Morita, Santee,CA; one niece; caregivers- Barbara E. Dometrich, Union, KY, Don Schmidt, Cincinnati, OH and many friends from Macy's, Krogers, Matsuya Restaurant and the U.S. Chito-kai Karate Federation. He moved to Covinton, KY in 1967. A BS alumus of a Japan University and Masters degree from Wilmington College in 1968. He was a Deli Clerk for the Kroger Co. RECEPTION CELEBRATING Montia San's life will be from 2 until 4PM, Sunday, April 21st at the Yoseikan Karate School, 22 Martin Street, Covington, KY 41011 (859 291-7232).
