Mason Reid King

Mason Reid King, 21, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born on May 16, 2003, in Beaumont to Alyson Szudzik Borders and Kevin King.
Survivors include his mother, Alyson Borders and her husband, Jon, of Lumberton; father, Kevin King and his wife, Alexia, of Lumberton; grandparents, Sue "Ninny" Szudzik of Beaumont; Patricia King of Lumberton; John and Kathie Scaramucci of Beaumont; and Pam "Nemo" East of Hamshire; siblings, Morgan King and her fiancé, Vincent Daigle, of Beaumont; Camden King of Lumberton; Courtlyn Borders of Lumberton; Carson Lafitte of New Braunfels; Brayden Borders of Lumberton; and Lauren Borders of Lumberton; longtime girlfriend, Danika Williamson of Orange; beloved dogs, Beaux, Marley, and Roxy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Mason is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Szudzik, O.G. King, Jr., and Mark East; and Uncle, Jason Szudzik.

A gathering of Mason's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2024, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Broussard's, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard's Crematorium.
