Mat George

Mat George was my favorite person to see everyday on Twitter. I loved how vibrant and whole he was as himself. He was truly a bright light in a dull world and will be greatly missed. I keep his family in my thoughts.

I never met Mat but from listening to the podcast, I felt I knew him. He was so kind and funny, so generous of spirit. His loss has affected me more deeply than I could have expected. What a wonderful person, to have touched the lives and hearts of strangers. My thoughts are with Michaela and the George family.

Thank you for all you gave of yourself to so many others Mat! You will never be forgotten!!

Mat was always a fun and funny guy when checking out books in the Lillian Schumacher Elementary library . My sympathies for Mat’s parents and sisters. God bless you now and always.

From everything I've read in the past few days, Mat George was every bit the gentle, hilarious, and lovely person that he came across so brilliantly as on the She Rates Dogs podcast. I am devastated for Mat's loved ones and will keep them in my thoughts. So thankful to Mat for creating welcoming spaces for young people on the internet who are trying to figure out who they are and what makes them happy.
