Mathias Grahek Obituary
After his military service, he completed aircraft mechanic school in Thief River Falls, MN. He was employed at US Steel, Minntac until large layoffs in the early 1980's. He was very skilled at mechanics, automotive bodywork, gardening and many other things. He was an excellent baseball player.
He is survived by his brother David Grahek of Ely, and cousins Lona Yakich and Sharon Fassbender of Wisconsin. Matt was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judy.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
