Matilda Rose Davis

Matilda Rose Davis, affectionately known as "Maddie," left this world on February 28, 2026, at the tender age of 5. She graced the world with her light on December 3, 2020.

Throughout her time with us, Maddie was a living testament to resilience. In defiance of medical predictions that suggested her life would be fleeting, she demonstrated extraordinary strength and determination, gracing us with her presence for five precious years. She was a true fighter, inspiring everyone who met her. Known for her intelligence, sass, and infectious humor, Maddie was in the midst of learning to walk. She was a child full of spunk and was perfect in every way, especially to those who had the privilege to love her. Her joyful spirit brought light to every room, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by her family and friends. Her journey may have been brief, but the love she shared and the lives she touched will resonate in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come.

Maddie leaves behind parents, Matthew and Cynthia Davis; brothers, Haden Edwards, Max Edwards; sister, Penelope Davis; half brother, Presley Burch; half-sister, Isabelle Burch; uncle, Danny Walls, and honorary aunt, Lori Greis.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
