Matilda M. Fallon

Matilda (Tillie) M. Fallon (Madrigale), of Philadelphia, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 18, 2025, at the age of 91.
Tillie will be deeply missed by her loving children MaryAnn Lutz (John) and James M. Fallon (Valerie), her grandchildren; Jessica Smith (Gerald), Ryan Fallon (Bernadette), Elise Davis (Robert), John Lutz III (Meghan), Chelsea Lutz, Connor Fallon (Tori), Joseph Lutz (Samantha), Joelle Giordano (Dominic), Leighann Rusden (Patrick), and her 13 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Dolores Wedgeworth, (late Arnold Madrigale) and Maryann Stevens, and many nieces and nephews.
Tillie is predeceased by her husband James A. Fallon, her son Robert Fallon (Jean), and her Grandson Robert Fallon, Jr.
Tillie graduated from St. Hubert's High School, married the love of her life on November 25, 1954, and raised her family in St. Jerome's parish in the Northeast. She worked for the Philadelphia School District as Food Service Manager for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking her famous Pistachio cake, bowling, bingo, reading and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to Matilda's Life Celebration on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM, until her funeral mass at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave, Southampton, PA, 18966. Interment will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Matilda's memory can be made to any Children's Cancer charity.
